Friday 3rd April update

Abernethy Dell Woods NNR timber footbridges and Kingussie aerial mast bridge complete.
The Dell Woods bridges are open and the Kingussie bridge will open in a few weeks once work on the approaches to the new bridge is complete.

Pictures of the new bridges will be posted soon.

Spring is fast approaching with the first Lapwing seen on the marshes  at Ballinlaggan Farm.

We have now completed our winter season conservation work for RSPB, winching down trees to simulate windblow and cutting heather within Abernethy Forest Reserve, this work is part of the RSPB’s management plan for the Abernethy Reserve.

After a few weeks of heavy snow work is now well under way on construction projects in Badenoch and Strathspey and on Shetland.
Information on these projects will be posted as we complete them.
